FITNESS HAS BEEN GOOD TO ME!!!!! I go to sleep every night thinking about how I can improve the training experience for my clients. Helping them develop healthy lifestyles as they work towards their personal fitness goals is all that matters to me as a strength and nutrition coach. I am so blessed to be in a profession where my joy comes from blessing so many others. I love serving my community here in the Memphis area and the many others I help through social media. I have been privileged to travel across the country to different colleges and community centers that allow me to share my knowledge as a proctor, tutor or as a speaker during fitness and health seminars. I have had the opportunity to develop wellness programs for different corporations as I work with human resource directors to create proactive programs to keep their employees healthy. LORD, I thank you for my break, though. I trusted in you, and you brought me through the storm. I give you the praise for my success.

Why exercise is important as we age


With regular exercise, you burn calories and change the way your brain reacts to certain foods. It could be that exercise enhances sensitivity to leptin, which is a protein in fat cells that controls appetite and sends signals to your brain to tell you when you're full. Or it could be that because you often feel better after a workout, exercise acts as its own mental reward, making you less likely to need a high-calorie snack to munch on and lift your mood. When you complete a great workout, not many of us want to ruin what we just accomplished in the gym on an unhealthy meal. Let that spirit of fitness shine! It's in you, and I know you can do it. "Fitness is Life and Life is Fitness! Exercise combined with a healthy diet will change your mind, body & soul.
